Well, dear reader, you will be delighted to know that it all worked according to plan and that, thanks to Ansmann and their Bordeaux distributor getting the replacement parts delivered and fitted, I am on the road again and have arrived in Pyla Sur Mer.
I am also in a hotel which has the worst internet connection I have come across for the last 10 years so I will save the details for tomorrow’s post. Do they still have dial-up connections?
Have had a celebratory beer at the alternative mini-golf park opposite the hotel and am off to bed in preparation for a long day in the saddle tomorrow.
